Climbing Wall Courses

The Mardyke Peak Climbing Courses is a programme Climbing Wall instruction designed to equip adults and young people aged 5 - 11 yrs olds and 12 to 17 yrs old with the fundamental technical skill and experience to climb safely on indoor walls. Instruction includes use of equipment, knots, climbing techniques, rope manage­ment and safety of the climber.

Course Times

Adult 6 week Course commencing Friday 13th January

Option 1 course commences at 6.30 - 8pm

Children 6 week course commencing Saturday 14th January

9.30 - 10.30 am  (5 - 11 yrs old) and 11.30 - 1pm (12 - 17 yrs old)

or

Sunday 15th January 10.00 - 11.30 (5 - 17 yrs old) and 12noon - 1.30pm (12-17 yrs)

How to Register

Complete and return the registration form to the Mardyke Arena UCC. Payment must be made on booking. The Course can cater for a maximum 12 participants per class.

Eligibility

Participants do not need climbing experience to attended this course. Please inform us if you have any special requirements.

What to Bring

Comfortable clothing (shorts/tracksuit bottoms) & Runners
