Mount Kilimanjaro Climbing Challenge In Aid of Baby Noah
2nd October 2014
A Carrigaline mum, Emma Drake, is hoping Cork people will join her in her fight to secure urgent funds of over 30k for her son’s life changing operation.
Baby Noah suffers from a rare condition known as Beckwith Wiedemann Syndrome, which includes symptoms such as an elongated tongue and enlarged internal organs.
The eight-month-pld, who was born 10 weeks premature, was unable to breathe unsupported for the first 13 weeks of his life and required a ventilator.
Mardyke Arena’s Climbing Wall Members & Staff are going to attempt to climb the height of Mount Kilimanjaro (19,431 feet) on Thursday October 16th from 09:00 – 21:00
Spot prizes and refreshments will be given on the day.
