Project Weightloss - Commencing Tuesday 3rd February

Are you overweight? (BMI over 25)

Aged 18+? Ready to change your life & get active? Need advice & motivation?

We are looking for Male & Female participants to take part in a 12 week programme to lose weight and improve your health. 

The weight lifestyle programme is run in conjunction with the Cork Sports Partnership and the HSE.

The programme will commence on Tuesday 3rd February with assessments taking place on Friday 30th January

Application Process

If you are interested in taking part in the Project Weightloss Programme you will need to fill out an application form in full, as honestly as possible with appropriate time and consideration given to the questions. As places on the programme will be limited the application process ensures a greater accuracy in the selection and screening of prospective participants, and those that are ready to make the change! On successful completion of the application form and if selected you will be invited on to the Project Weightloss Programme.

The cost of the programme is €150 and there are easy pay options available.

What does BMI mean?

A method of determining if you have an ideal body weight is to calculate your Body Mass Index (BMI). To calculate your BMI divide your weight in kilograms by your height in metres squared.

If your BMI is +25 then this is a programme for you.

How regular are the sessions?

The sessions will take place twice a week for a 12 week programme, lasting approx. 1 - 1 1/4 hrs.

What is the cost of the programme?

Each participant will pay €150 for the programme.

How intense are the sessions?

Each session will be tailored by a fitness professional and will be ideally suited to you capabilities.
