About Clinical Pilates
Clinical Pilates is a modified form of Pilates specifically designed by Physiotherapists. The class consists of a combination of exercises focussing on strength, mobility and stretching. The main theme of the class is maintaining a central core of stability in the region around the lower back and pelvis. The principle of Pilates is that by improving how we move, we can improve our daily function.
Course Dates & Times
Improver Clinical Pilates – Monday: 6 – 7 pm
- Monday 16th February – 23rd March 2015
- Monday 30th March – 18th May 2015 (Note: 2 Bank Holidays in this period)
Beginners Clinical Pilates – Tuesday: 5 – 6 pm
- Tuesday 17th February – 31st March 2015 (Note: 1 Bank Holiday in this period)
- Tuesday 7th April – 12th May 2015
- €80 Mardyke Members/UCC Staff/UCC Students
- €100 Non-Members
Maximum 10 participants per class. Classes are subject to demand. Courses are bookable by phone or at the arena clinic reception on a first come first served basis. Places cannot be reserved unless full payment has been received. Courses are non refundable and non transferable. Classes fill on a first come first served basis. Management reserves the right to change/alter/cancel classes and/or refuse admission.
