The High-Performance Gym at Mardyke Arena UCC supports high-performance and developing athletes with specialist coaching, state-of-the-art equipment, and performance-tracking technology. Our High-Performance Team delivers strength & conditioning and athlete support services across a wide range of sports, working with professional and national squads, intercounty GAA and camogie teams, swimming and soccer programmes, club teams, and UCC performance athletes.
Hockey Athletic Development Academy - June 2026

High Performance Mardyke Arena UCC, along with our partners UCC Hockey, are excited to present the Hockey Athletic Development Academy, a 4-week athletic development program designed to maximise the development & performance of aspiring hockey players access aged 14-18.

Led by expert coaches and performance specialists, the program grants hockey enthusiast’s exposure to high-level training and education in a world-class environment. The program provides the springboard for these players to improve and excel their on-field hockey performance.

Weekly Sessions

  • Tuesdays 11:30 – 13:30
  • Thursday 11:30-13:30

Dates:  Tuesday 2nd June – Thursday 25th June

Soccer Athletic Development Academy - June 2026

The Soccer Athletic Development Academy is a 4-week athletic development program designed to maximise the development & performance of aspiring soccer players access aged 14-18.

Led by expert coaches and performance specialists, the program grants soccer enthusiast’s exposure to high-level training and education in a world-class environment. The program provides the springboard for these players to improve and excel their on-field soccer performance.

Weekly Sessions

  • Monday: 09:30 – 11:30
  • Wednesday: 09:30-11:30

Dates: 8th June – 1st July

  • General : €95
  • UCC Staff / MA member: €85
