National Qualification in Neuromuscular Therapy

The National Training Centre is the founder of Neuromuscular Therapy and they have been providing NMT courses in Ireland and abroad since the 1990’s. Successful completion of this course will provide you with the knowledge and skills to treat acute and chronic pain and injury so that you can offer safe, effective and appropriate treatment for soft tissue dysfunction and muscular pain.

Graduates may work on an individual basis within their own private practice or as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Neuromuscular Therapists also work with teams to provide ongoing pre, inter and post event care. This programme provides graduates with sought after qualifications in both orthopaedic sports massage and neuromuscular therapy, which allows them to offer treatment and intervention for chronic and acute soft tissue and muscular pain, injury and soft tissue dysfunction. An indication of the respect and recognition for graduates is the cover offered by major Health Insurers for their patients.

National Qualification in Exercise, Health Studies and Personal Training

The National Qualification in Exercise, Health Studies and Personal Training is the only complete fitness instructor and personal training qualification in Ireland, which demonstrates, through its accreditation by the European Health and Fitness Association, that it meets the minimum standard as agreed by the fitness industry.

The NTC course is the most comprehensive training available ensuring that NTC graduates are qualified in a broad range of skills including group fitness, gym instruction, kettlebell training and personal training. On successful completion of this NTC health fitness course you will have the knowledge, skills and competencies to work in Ireland’s health fitness industry and across the globe, whether it be in a self employed capacity as a personal trainer, private group fitness instructor teaching your own classes or working within the growing number of gyms, health clubs, fitness and leisure centers in Ireland and abroad.

NTC graduates are highly sought after by employers and managers, as they know that when NTC learners complete our courses they are fully equipped to do the job and they hit the ground running! The National Qualification in Exercise, Health Studies and Personal Training is accredited at European Qualification Framework (EQF) Level 4.
